Hertz HCP 4D — 4-channel amplifier, D class.

A surprisingly compact 4-channel high power amplifier will be an excellent acquisition for audio systems of the most diverse configurations: front + subwoofer, front + rear, bi-amping front and many other options. Any pair of channels can be switched on in bridge mode, incl. both pairs at the same time. The amplifier works in class D (full range D-class), fully realizing the advantages of high efficiency and low power consumption. In terms of price/quality ratio, price/equipment and power/dimensions, this amplifier occupies an exceptional place on the market.

The advanced built-in crossover differs in an extended range of setting the cut-off frequency of the low-pass/high-pass filters: from 50 Hz to 3.2 kHz. This allows you to implement a bi-amping connection scheme without the need for additional external audio signal processing devices. A seamlessly tuned bass lift scheme (base frequency 50 Hz) provided for one of the channel pairs helps to achieve the desired representation weights in the lower register. For connection to standard or purchased head units the amplifier is equipped with both low-level (RCA) and high-level audio inputs. When working with a standard head unit, the ART function of auto on/off of an amplifier with a useful audio signal at the input will be of great benefit. The availability of line outputs for transmitting the audio signal to another amplifier of the audio system further expands the connection possibilities. The signal for the line outputs is available regardless of the type of audio inputs used.

The die-cast aluminum case is equipped with a cooling radiator on the side panels, which maintains high efficiency both with horizontal and vertical installation of the amplifier. The design of the ends of the case with a "visor" from the top panel protects the connectors and switches from possible damage, also enhancing the overall aesthetics of the installation.
