The Prology MPV-400 radio is a new multimedia navigation system equipped with a 7 pixel (177 mm) widescreen touch screen with increased contrast and a special coating that prevents glare. The liquid crystal screen has excellent viewing angles, rich color reproduction, which you can adjust as you wish: adjust brightness, contrast, color gamut. At the same time, thanks to the multifunctional operating system, you can install various additional programs. Compact dimensions (180x103x50 mm) facilitate quick installation without any difficulties.

Radio tuner functions

The main advantages of the multimedia center are the built-in digital radio tuner with RDS support and the FM/VHF frequency range. With this function, you can see on the display not only text information, but also the name of the track, radio station, name of the artist of the musical composition. If we compare the principle of operation of the classic and digital radio tuner, it will become obvious that the digital one tunes the radio stations much faster, because its work is not so much affected by external factors. In addition, when searching for a radio station, you do not need to mess around in the settings for a long time, it will be enough to set the corresponding radio frequency on the screen.

Wireless connection

Thanks to the Bluetooth profile, you can wirelessly connect between two devices: a radio system and a smartphone. Built-in A2DP and AVRCP profiles will provide stereo audio signals, and HSP and HFP profiles will guarantee the basic functionality necessary for the interaction of mechanisms and high-speed file synchronization. At the time of synchronizing the phone with the media station via Bluetooth, you can use the universal “hands-free” option, with which you can automatically receive and make phone calls through the convenient radio menu. During a telephone conversation, the microphone of the media receiver and the car's on-board acoustics are used as the microphone and speaker.

The kit includes a remote control that is mounted on the steering wheel of the vehicle. With it, you can control the basic functions of the radio. To do this, the device has a built-in SWC interface, thanks to which the audio system is controlled by the standard buttons of the steering wheel of the car.
