Dotech Ovation features Morel's Unified one-piece chassis with shallow aerodynamic design to reduce sound reflection distortion and mounting depth. Dotech's double magnet drive motor and its large 54mm (2 1/8”) diameter Hexatech™ aluminum voice coil, provides better cone support and higher power handling. The use of Morel's C.A.R. Filter technology improves acoustical loading and enhances the woofer's ability to perform well in free-air environments.
Morel's new MT-12 Acuflex™ coated soft dome tweeter with neodymium magnet motor and large diameter 28mm (1 1/8”) voice coil allows wide frequency response and a lower resonance point, providing perfect integration with its mid-bass woofer.
The tuning process is further simplified with the new Mini-Accuset crossover alignment system, designed to work with the Mini-Accuset MX-20.4/5/6 crossover. This exceptional sound-tuning device enables easy and fast adjustment of the crossover from any location to achieve optimal soundstage and imaging.
