Batteries of direct polarity and what they are

A car battery has a polarity, which can be understood by the location of the terminals on its surface (usually on the cover). Polarity is considered straight when the battery plus is on the left side of the battery, and the minus is on the right. At the same time, the battery should be turned towards the motorist (in many cases the terminals are closer to it, and if not, the desired side can be easily identified by the label). However, it is not recommended to put on a car that is designed for batteries of direct polarity, batteries, where the terminals are located differently. If the polarity is disrupted, the electronics in the car will not work, or even it may fail. Fortunately, the design of most cars simply does not allow the normal connection of batteries that do not fit in polarity.

In the process of selecting the battery, you can build on the country of the car manufacturer. If the country is Russia or, for example, Japan, then the car most likely needs a battery of direct polarity. If the manufacturer is the United States or Germany, then you will most likely have to use devices with terminals that are located opposite.
