The Blue Smart IP22 Charger series of professional chargers stands out against the background of analogs by the convenience of operation, high performance, flexible settings of operating parameters and the ability to work with batteries of various types. These devices can be used to restore lead-acid, AGM, gel, EFB and Li-ion batteries with a voltage of 12 volts.
This model has a built-in Bluetooth module, with it you can connect the memory to any mobile device and constantly monitor its work, even remotely. There is also a special mobile application VictronConnect, which allows you to adjust the parameters of the device during operation, which greatly simplifies management.
6-step charge algorithm
This is an intelligent battery charger with a built-in microprocessor that constantly monitors all processes when charging batteries. The device is able to analyze the technical condition of the power source and automatically adjust the operating parameters for the most complete and safe recovery of capacity.
There are six different charge modes:
Charge/test
In this mode, diagnostics are performed, the device determines the general technical condition of the battery and its ability to accept charge.
Filling
Charging mode using maximum charge current. It will not complete until the battery reaches the absorption voltage (recovery level around 80%).
Absorption
At this stage, the voltage is fixed, and the level of charging current gradually decreases. This method allows you to return the power source to recover one hundred percent.
Restore
Used for sulphated or deep discharged batteries. The process is carried out by small currents, which allows you to gradually return to her normal working condition. As soon as the voltage at the battery terminals reaches the nominal value, the charger automatically switches to the standard charging mode.
Floating
This mode is used to maintain the battery after the completion of the entire recovery cycle in a charged state. The charger enters this mode automatically.
Storage
When storing, in order to keep the battery charged and to avoid excessive gas formation, the device constantly supplies a reduced voltage to the battery. However, once every 7 days the device automatically switches on the absorption mode for an hour.
Desulphation Mode and Recovery after Deep Discharge
Used to return automotive batteries that have undergone sulphation or have been discharged during operation. With it, you can significantly extend the life of the power source. The duration of the process depends on the degree of sulfation of the power source, as a rule, it takes at least a day.
Recharge Li-ion batteries
These batteries are very demanding for chargers, in order to restore them you must go through three successive stages: filling — absorption — floating.
