Teltonika MSP500 is a special GPS tracker for vehicle speed limit management. It is used in logistics, courier and taxi services, domestic and international transport. The main advantages of this model are RS232 interface, Bluetooth module, internal GNSS/GSM antennas, speed limit relay and built-in buzzer.
RS232 interface support
This interface allows you to easily and quickly connect various additional external devices. This is the industry standard for serial communications.
Backup power
Thanks to the backup battery, the GPS tracker can work without connecting to an external power source.
Built-in buzzer
If the speed limit is exceeded, the driver will receive a warning signal.
Speed ??limit relay
When this function is activated, a special solenoid valve will reduce the fuel supply to the engine until the vehicle speed drops to an acceptable value and the relay turns off.
Electronic controller
The device has a throttle controller for temporarily deactivating the accelerator pedal. As a result, the vehicle speed will gradually decrease to the permissible value and the relay will turn off.
4G support

Bluetooth module

Satellite systems

Accelerometer
The built-in accelerometer allows you to determine the position and movement in space, guided by the vector of gravity and rotation speed. When moving, it detects linear acceleration and angular velocity in three axes, which gives a complete picture of the position.
Limp function
Allows you to set the maximum allowed speed. Disabling the speed sources (pulse counter) activates this mode. In this case, the car will move at a given speed.
