Hertz HCP 1D is a mono amplifier of class D.

Despite its compact dimensions, this 1-channel amplifier has a high power of 320/550 W (4/2 Ohm), and its equipment would be an honor for the top-class amplifiers. First of all, it's a great partner for subwoofers, but the ability to turn off the low-pass filter and work in full frequency range (10 Hz-22 kHz) extends the scope of application to inclusion with broadband speakers in audio systems of extremely high volume. In any case, the price/quality/power/size ratio is an exceptionally attractive candidate for your audio system.

The amplifier works in class D, fully implementing the advantages of high efficiency and low power consumption. In order to achieve the best results when operating in a subwoofer, it is equipped with a low pass filter with an increase of up to 24 dB/oz of steepness of the attenuation, a filter of infrasonic frequencies (FINCH, subsonic), a customizable bass boost circuit and a smooth phase adjustment. For additional convenience, you can purchase a remote control HRC for a separate charge.

To connect to regular or purchased head units, the amplifier is equipped with both low-level (RCA) and high-level audio inputs. When working with a head unit, the ART function of automatically turning on/off the amplifier is useful if there is a useful audio signal at the input. It even further extends the ability to connect the presence of linear outputs for audio transmission to another audio system amplifier. The signal for linear outputs passes through the RF filter and is available regardless of the type of audio inputs used.

The cast aluminum housing is equipped with a cooling radiator on the side panels, which maintains high efficiency both in horizontal and vertical mounting of the amplifier. Execution of the ends of the case with a "visor" from the top of the panel protects the connectors and switches from possible damage, thus increasing the overall aesthetics of the installation.
