Description car DVR Blaupunkt BP 3.0 FHD GPS
Mechanism complete set
The Blaupunkt BP 3.0 FHD GPS Digital Video Recorder is a miniature device for all vehicles. BP 3.0 comes with a suction cup holder, thanks to which you can mount the DVR to the control panel or windshield, a USB data cable, a long USB cigarette lighter charger, and a CD with the necessary software.
Screen specifications
BP 3.0 features a 2.7-inch LCD display and control buttons. The buttons are designed to perform basic operations.
Power Supply and Installation Features
On the right side there is a power button and a mini HDMI port, which will be needed if you have a desire to connect the DVR to the car entertainment system or home TV for more video viewing. BP 3.0 has a built-in 600 mAh battery, which is enough to automatically save video and turn off the device. The battery is intended only for saving videos to prevent their loss. The mechanism is powered by a car cigarette lighter.
To install the device, you need to attach the mount to the glass and install the DVR on it. Setting up the device is simple. Set the recording mode according to your needs — initially you need to configure the settings for resolution, sound, motion, GPS and other sensors. When the mechanism receives power, it will automatically turn on and start recording. When you turn off the car completely, the DVR will save the video and turn off automatically. During use, the built-in battery is automatically charged, so you will not have problems charging the device.
File storage
On the left side there is a microphone hole, a reset button and a micro SD card slot (up to 64 GB maximum), which is designed to store files. Video can be recorded in different quality from 480p to Full HD 1080p at 30 frames per second. The 2-megapixel CMOS sensor can not only shoot video, but also takes photos. The camera lens has a wide viewing angle of 140 degrees, which is enough to cover a large area.
File transfer options to other devices
On the top of the device there is a micro USB slot, which is conveniently located. It can be used to charge the device and to transfer video to a PC.
Identification and main functions
BP 3.0 also has built-in GPS, which works without the need for a GSM SIM card or the Internet. It connects to satellites directly to get basic details such as location. DVR video can be played using the supplied software, which provides important EXIF ??information (GPS, date, time, and more). Each BP 3.0 unit can also be numbered for unique identification in the settings themselves, and this information is also watermarked for the video. Unique identification numbers are intended for those who use several devices in one car or who have several cars with the installed DVR. This number can be used to distinguish between users and their vehicles.
The G-sensor is another feature of the Blaupunkt BP 2.5 FHD digital video camera. The shock sensor (accelerometer) is most often used to enable protection of previously recorded files, so that in the event of an accident, stop recording, save files and block their possible deletion.
Recording can be turned on either manually or automatically — by a signal from a motion or shock sensor, which are included in the design of the mechanism. In this case, the motion sensor mainly serves to automatically activate recording. As soon as activity appears in the video frame, the camera will start shooting, which is very good from a security point of view.
The “parking sensor” function is also very useful when you use EXIF ??information to find out where you parked your car while driving.
Shooting video files
BP 3.0 records video from a wide angle. Daytime video detailed and clear. Video in low light or at night is also very high quality. When watching night videos you can clearly see all the details thanks to the 1 LUX low-light-emitting CMOS sensor, which does not require a flash or infrared light source for night mode. Video playback is smooth, and the sound is well and legibly audible.
Additional Information Display
Connect the DVR to your PC and run the software that came with the device. It will provide you with data such as the number of videos captured, date, time, size, start time, end time, location on the map, speed and direction. You can also lock important files so that they are not accidentally overwritten or deleted.
