The AudisonPrima APBX 10 AS Active Enclosure Subwoofer is compact and efficient. It can be connected using the 2S2 principle (2 Sides/2 Sounds) and the Plug &Play principle. The subwoofer has a powerful built-in D-class amplifier, its rated power rating is 400 W RMS. And thanks to the use of the original scheme, the efficiency was raised to 90%.

Obtaining such a high power from the amplifier in the absence of a traditional power supply was made possible thanks to the use of a new dual voice coil with ultra-low impedance in the speakers.

To ensure the most accurate matching with other elements of the speaker system, there is a signal polarity switch (0/180 degrees). The input of the amplifier allows for optimal subwoofer settings. The low pass filter has a cut of 50-200 Hz. You can also improve bass reproduction using a custom bass boost (0-6 dB), which operates at a center frequency of 45 Hz.

Please note that this subwoofer can be connected to the headunit through the line inputs, as well as to the standard car audio systems using high-level inputs. The device can be turned on/off not only according to the classical principle, when voltage is applied to the control input, but also automatically. You can configure the ART (Automatic Remote Turn-On) system so that it responds to the appearance of constant voltage at high-level inputs, or to a useful sound signal.
