Quarantine 2020 for motorists — rules and restrictions

Throughout April 2-24, quite a strict quarantine was established, although it can be a little easier for motorists, since there are no too significant restrictions for them. So, this is what is allowed and forbidden for motorists to do during quarantine 2020.

Allowed:

• Do not wear a face shield while in the vehicle. But when transporting passengers, it is recommended not to neglect protective masks.
• Refuel at a gas station.
• Eating and drinking coffee at gas stations, as special precautions have been introduced at a large number of gas stations.
• Drive a car in Ukraine and even travel abroad. But not everything is as good as it may sound. In most large settlements, entry and exit is prohibited, the same situation with points of departure abroad. Below you can find the current map of zones with restricted entry and exit.
• Carry out the carriage of passengers in passenger vehicles, in which no more than 9 seats are provided, including a driver.
• Rent a car.
• Pick up food at distribution points.
• Replace your driver’s license online.

• Get both new cars and spare parts for them.
• To insure a car or to issue documents for reimbursement in insured events.
• Register new cars online.
• Certify TS or HBO.

Forbidden:

• Buy used cars.
• Use the car at a distance of more than 2 km from the place of residence for people who need self-isolation (if they had contact with patients or people over 60 with suspected COVID-19).
• Leave the settlement recognized as the focus of COVID-19.
