Operating parameters
The charger operates from an alternating current network with a voltage of 180-240 V and a frequency of 50-60 Hz. The maximum charge current is 25 A. The device has three charge levels with a voltage of 13.8/14.4/16, which allows you to effectively charge different types of batteries.
For which batteries can it be used
Master Watt 12V, 25A is suitable for charging all types of car batteries, including lead-acid, AGM and gel (GEL) batteries. It works effectively with batteries with capacities from 50 to 400 Ah.
Automatic operation
The device has an automatic control system that ensures efficient battery charging without the need for manual adjustment. The regulator on the front panel allows you to set the optimal charge current, and the ammeter helps control the process.
3 charge options
Low: 13.8 V. The mode is suitable for charging and storing any type of battery, including AGM and gel batteries. The battery can be connected to the device for a long time.
Medium: 14.4 V. This basic level is also suitable for charging all types of batteries. Current 0.05-0.2C. Charging time is 10-12 hours.
High: 16.2 V. Used exclusively for serviceable batteries, and they must be removed from the vehicle. Not suitable for gel ones. Used for severely discharged batteries.
Protection
Master Watt is protected against short circuit and polarity reversal, which prevents damage to the device and battery. Protection is provided by a fuse that responds to any deviations from normal operating conditions.
Current limiter
The charger is equipped with a special current limiter, implemented in the form of a regulator. By returning it, you can control the current indicator on the ammeter. When charging at the main stage, it is advisable to set the current to 0.1C. As the battery capacity fills, the output current decreases. If it drops to 0, the battery can be disconnected.
