Main purpose
The Gazer PA45F parking system provides high reliability and accuracy in distance measurement. The kit includes highly efficient 58 kHz ultrasonic sensors that can function smoothly at any temperature. Install them on the outside of the bumper.
When measuring distance, the parking system uses a special algorithm for determining objects, which is based on trigonometric equations. It uses information from two sensors at once. As a result, the driver receives accurate data about the distance to the obstacle, and not the distance of an individual sensor to the object. Thanks to this, you can place the sensors at different distances and heights from each other.
A speaker is included in the package of the parking system, which will signal the distance to the object in a timely manner. Volume parameters can be changed or their alerts can be turned off altogether if necessary. To visually determine the distance, you have the opportunity to connect a PAD20 graphic LCD display to the system. The display can work with either one system or simultaneously with two, reflecting graphic information.The display needs to be bought separately.
High level of protection
Thanks to the highly efficient operation of the sensors, the risk of blind spots and gaps disappears. The sensors are resistant to sharp changes in temperature, and therefore the sensitivity and accuracy of the measurement does not decrease either on hot summer days or during severe frosts. High-performance sensors are protected against contamination and moisture penetration according to the IP67 standard.
Installation Features
Additionally, a mill with a spring is included in the scope of supply, which ensures the most accurate drilling. Sensor Versatility
The sensors of the parking system have a unique design, due to which they can be installed both in the bumper of the car and inside. A special mount in which the sensor itself is mounted is located on the inside of the bumper. Due to this, the visible part of the sensor is flush with the surface of the car bumper. For the effective operation of the system, it is important that each of the four sensors is placed correctly and the angle of inclination does not exceed 6 degrees.
Connection of an additional system
The parking system is designed for installation in the front bumper of the car, while having a separate control unit and four sensors. Additionally, the vehicle can be installed on the rear bumper, which also includes a control unit and four sensors. In this case, both systems can be combined into a single unit using the PAC10 cable. If the machine moves backward, the front system will remain on. So that the driver of the car could know by ear which side the obstacle is located, the sound frequency of the signals of both systems is different.
