Pioneer AVH-190 and MVH-AV190 — overview

Sound. It is immediately evident that these devices have everything necessary for a classical audio system. It can be either with separate amplifiers, or without them. In the latter case, there is a "bonus" from the manufacturer, which many people forget or even do not know about. This is the ability to connect the subwoofer directly, without the rear speakers. The operating mode of the latter switches to the menu.

Of course, immediately reject the fantasy of connecting "heavy" sabs with low sensitivity. Built-in amplifiers are simply not designed for this kind of load. But this feature is perfect for 6x9 speakers. In this case, you can get a quality and interesting sound.

If a sub is connected, it can be adjusted, for example, to adjust the signal level, its polarity and the frequency of the low pass filter. On the main filters you can connect a high-pass filter — you can limit the lowest bass, thus not allowing the speakers to be overloaded.

In addition to the standard sound settings, here got a 5-band graphic equalizer. For earlier devices, this possibility can be considered very advanced. You can separately adjust the bass level, for example, when you want to add "weight" sounds, but leave the whole sound unchanged.

You can also note the ability to expose relative source levels, because sometimes such a functional will be very useful.
