Magnum GSM car alarms
Summing up the comparative review of the Magnum car alarm functions with GSM of the eighth series:
Bestseller Sales-Magnum MH-820 from the middle of March 2012, is discontinued, it is now replaced by two car alarms:
- Car alarm Magnum MH-822 (low-current control of central locks) for cars with built-in central locking. In essence, the same Magnum MH-820.
- Car alarm Magnum MH-825 (built-in power control central locks) for cars without built-in central locking for easy installation thereof. Analogue bundles-Magnum MH-820/MH-822 + built-in relay.
In the Magnum Elite MH-860 car alarm, a tilt/movement sensor is already integrated, as well as a car alarm system for those who want to be able to connect the G700 GPS module and get more accurate vehicle position coordinates (and additional compatibility with the Magnum Connect system). Also important moment-built-in backup power source (battery). In this car alarm there is an input for connecting a microphone (the ability to listen to the car). And pleasant additions to the Magnum Elite MH-860 will be-additional protection of the outputs and built-in automatic heating of the GSM module and SIM holder. Because of this, the system consumption in the protection mode is slightly (by 1 mA), which, in principle, does not particularly affect the discharge of the car battery.
For those who need additional (to the existing Magnum Elite MH-860), such useful functions as autostart and remote engine start over the phone should pay attention to the top models of car alarm systems-Magnum Elite MH-880 and Magnum Elite MH-880 CAN. The main difference between them is the fact that the latter (MH-880CAN) has an integrated CAN bus adapter of the famous brand TEC Electronics, which produces certified CAN bus adapters. In addition, the design of the keyfobs in the 880th series significantly wins over the entire line of car alarm Magnum.
Otherwise, Magnum GSM car alarms, as the model line grows, do not differ significantly: the design of the key fobs, the number of additional outputs/inputs, possible interlocks, etc. Nevertheless, the Magnum GSM car alarm system is by far the best car security complex on the market with GSM/GPS modules and at the same time absolutely confidently surpasses competitors, both in the technical level and in the price one!
