The universality of Thesis TH 1.5 II Violino lies in the possibility of choosing the frequency distribution of the bands in a fairly wide range. High quality materials
The universal speaker is equipped with a single-layer 34 mm voice coil wrapped with copper-plated aluminum (Copper Clad Aluminum Wire), which is lightweight, stable resonant frequency and the absolute absence of dynamic compression, even at maximum power level. Moreover, due to the nominal resistance level, which is 6 ohms, the heating of the voice coil is reduced.
The tweeter dome is made of durable Tetolon material, its profile and shape of the front panel is designed according to the finite element method and tested by Klippel scanning laser vibrometers. The geometry of the dome helps to expand the frequency range without distortion when reproducing sound.
